fuel gauge not working - thinking it may be the fuel sending unit - how do I get to this part?

The fuel tank sender is behind the boot facing panel as you look in to the boot this is drop down ( 2 plastic clips if a late car) screws on an early car.Drop the carpet panel down to access/test the sender
