Hello there,
Can anyone help me with the type of suspension my car has. It's a 1956 S1 B356CK. I need a new fulcrum pin (upper and lower). I learned there are two types:
1) Oil (parts UR3797(upper pin) with bush UR4266 and UR3965(lower pin))
2) Grease (parts UR539(upper pin) with bush UR538 and UR352(lower pin))
I suppose they are oil fed as the oil pipes are clearly present. But my question is: Are the parts interchangeable or not. if not what parts do I need for B356CK? The descriptions in the parts list are not very clear to me on this topic.

Cars prior to chassis number FA144 had oil fed suspension so the parts you require are:
Top pin UR3797
Top bush UR4266
Lower pin UR3965
The parts are not interchangeable, although the later grease fed pin UR539 does supercede to the oil fed pin UR3797 which is rather confusing!
We would also recommend that you have the sealing rings for the top pin UR4003P and lower pin UR4001P.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
