Whilst attempting to replace my drive belts ( 2002 Arnage red label) , I followed the shop manual instructions , including taking off the pulley .
But here is my hiccup ... every bolt/adjuster is loose ... really loose , but I cannot for love nor money get the bloody pump to swing though its adjustment arc in any direction .
I even got underneath the car to see if I was missing a bolt or something , all I could see/feel is a series of hard pipes connected to the pump ( which led me to wonder how this thing moves at all)
So here I be , belts off , and a car that is going nowhere until I can get the belts back on ... So what am I missing ...all help /input greatly received

Good Morning
I have spoken to our technical guy on this matter.
Who has told me that it is very hard to diagnose any problems on your car as we are not with the vehicle.
All we can suggest is to repeat the procedure through the workshop manuals instructions and double check the process.
Many thanks.

So, I got the job done by making a tool that would hook to the pump bracket and allow me to pull the pump through its arch ( I had to take the alternator off to get better access) . There are indeed hard pipes that go to the pump , and I have to say that there is no way you could do this job with just the strength in your arms/hands . Now onto the next "small job"
