Hello my altermatic choke wont shut down by its self and have to kick down the gas peddle as the engine is warming up to reduce reves on my 1978 shadow 2 any ideas on what can be causing it please,what do i need to do to fix it

Hi Sir
Please check the stove pipes and the choke spring and solenoid also check that the butterfly is not seized
