Greetings, my Shadow II srk37329 idles fine, but as you add throttle it pops and chirps from the right hand side su, and refuses to proceed? I have added new plugs wires, cap etc, all were in good running order but the problem continues. The effected Carb has a much lower cfm than the other, 10 units less on my gauge? How is this adjusted? Timing is correct as well, and compression tests fine. No smoke from the pipes and the oil is great.

I have spoken to our mechanic and these are his instructions below.
"Is the pot sticking? a little lube maybe in order. The carb could have an air leak. The adjustment for the mixture is next to the dash pot( a flat headed screw with a spring) this should be wound out 3 full turns from fully closed."
Hopefully this can give you a starting point as regards lube we mean a little of your dashpot oil to check the plunger is moving fine
